St. Paul is located 200 km northeast of Edmonton. It boasts the World’s First UFO Landing Pad and has a visitor centre to provide information to its many visitors. St. Paul’s life-support is the rich agricultural land that surrounds the Town and the oil and gas industries. With a population of over 6000 people, the community is diverse and maintains its status as a major trading centre for the surrounding district.

St. Paul’s history is rich with Francophone culture. In the 1970s, 80% of the population and the surrounding area was francophone and over the past 40 years, the demographics have changed but its roots stay strong. With French community associations, schools and immersion programs, the town continues to uphold its values and culture all the while providing a sense of community to bilingual residents and visitors.
